A quick, honest look at PrepArc

PrepArc is a practice app for the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT. Students drill vocabulary, math, reading, and writing, see a worked explanation after every question, and watch their accuracy improve by topic. There is also a Research Paper Navigator that walks a student through planning and writing an academic paper.

PrepArc is for students aged 13 and up. Practice content requires a free account, and every account confirms the student is 13 or older at signup. There is no signed-out practice mode, so younger students should wait until they are 13 to use PrepArc. Everything in the app is free.

• Account email, and the name, state or country, grade, and school type given at signup
• The test track your student chooses, such as SSAT or SAT
• Practice progress and drill results, including per topic accuracy
• Saved test dates and study reminders your student sets
• Dream school, college list, and the Research Paper Navigator answers and notes

• No advertising, and no ad trackers
• We do not sell or rent student data, ever
• No social features, no public profiles, no messaging between users
• No browsing history from outside PrepArc
• Writing samples stay on your student's own device and are visible only to your student. We never receive them.

Practice questions are written and expanded with AI assistance, then reviewed, and every answer key is computed rather than guessed. Mistakes can still slip through, so every graded question has a "Report a problem with this question" link that sends it straight to us. Reported items get checked quickly.

Email hello@preparc.com from the account email and ask for deletion. We remove the account and everything attached to it. A student can also request deletion from inside the app in Settings.

PrepArc is built by a parent who was making test prep for her own kids and decided to share it with other families.
